Every September 10th, World Su***de Prevention Day reminds us for open and compassionate conversations. The global theme "Changing the Narrative on Su***de", calls on all of us to break the silence, remove the stigma around mental health, and replace judgement with empathy and support. ๐Ÿ‘

This message is anchored by a gentle reminder, "May bukas pang isusulat". No matter how heavy a single chapter feels, it is not the end of your book. Your story isn't over, and your life holds pages to be filled with new hope, healing, and possibilities. โœจ๐ŸŒฑ

Need someone to talk to? You don't have to carry the weight alone. A confidential support, safe and welcoming space are available whenever you need them. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿซ‚

Visit the Care Center, our doors are open if you need a quiet space to process and talk through what you are feeling. You are always welcome here.

Hello, JVYians!

Please be informed that the Substance Use Prevention and Awareness Seminar, originally scheduled on September 4 and 8, 2026, is postponed until further notice.

This decision has been made following the official suspension of face-to-face classes due to weather conditions and recent bridge collapses. The safety and well-being of our community remain our top priority.

New dates and updated scheduling details will be shared once normal school operations resume. Thank you for your understanding and patience!

Please stay safe and stay tuned for further announcements. :)

SEPTEMBER is SU***DE PREVENTION AWARENESS MONTH.

This month, let this be a reminder that when life gets heavy, hindi mo kailangang mag-isa. Because sometimes, โ€œOkay lang akoโ€can mean:

โ€œI wish someone would notice.โ€
โ€œAyokong maging burden sa iba.โ€
โ€œHindi ko alam kung kanino ako lalapit.โ€

Thatโ€™s why checking in matters!

A simple โ€œKamusta ka?โ€ can open a door for someone who has been struggling in silence. And when they choose to share, we donโ€™t always need to have the perfect advice, we can simply listen and let them know theyโ€™re not alone. ๐Ÿซ‚

And if youโ€™re the one struggling, please know that help is available. ๐Ÿ’š You can reach out to someone you trust, a mental health professional, or a crisis support service. Asking for help is not weakness. You deserve support, especially when things feel too heavy.

You matter, even on the days you canโ€™t feel it. ๐Ÿค—

May makikinig. At may handang tumulong.

๐ŸŸฅ Myth: "Mental health problems are a sign of weakness or a character flaw.โ€

๐ŸŸฉ Fact: Mental health problems stem from biological, psychological, social and spiritual factors.

๐Ÿงฌ Biological: Posibleng dahil sa chemical imbalances sa utak, genetics, o kakulangan sa tulog at nutrisyon.

๐Ÿง
