God’s best work happens in the waiting because He is working in you more than in your circumstances.
When God puts us through times of waiting, it is not for no reason. It is a thoughtful, deliberate act of a Father who wants the best for us.
In my book, Thriving, I list these five fruits of waiting:
▪ Waiting teaches us to surrender
▪ Waiting helps us see that God is in control
▪ Waiting teaches us to hope
▪ Waiting strengthens our relationship with God
▪ Waiting helps us appreciate the answered prayer
When God is in the midst of your life, even the most boring waiting seasons has its purpose. So surrender, prepare, and live for God during those times. You will reap the full benefit of it in the future if you stay faithful.
“...but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31
