SAFETY FIRST: The Fire Brigade Team and selected employees of Mary Johnston Hospital (MJH) who attended the Fire and Earthquake Seminar listen to SP01 Al Jeph Lorenzo (center) of the Bureau of Fire Prevention (BFP) held at the Gumersindo Garcia Hall of Mary Johnston Hospital (MJH). The seminar, which was spearheaded by MJH’s General Service Office, played a crucial role in the preparation for fire prevention initiatives. The lecture also aimed at educating and equipping MJH employees in responding safely to fire and earthquake emergencies. Meet the inspiring scholars of the 𝗥𝗲𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗰𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 at Mary Johnston Hospital. Witness the transformative journey of these dedicated individuals, guided by the unwavering support of the program.

Through dedication and support, this program stood as a beacon of hope and empowerment for the hospital's employees and has been a catalyst for success in their professional journeys.

𝙈𝙨. 𝙅𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙁𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙤 and 𝙈𝙨. 𝙉𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙖 𝙉𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙖 finished their Masters in Business Administration under the program and are currently serving the hospital as the Executive Assistant and Accounting Supervisor respectively.

𝙈𝙨. 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝘼𝙣𝙣 𝙀𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙤, OIC - Purchasing Office; 𝙈𝙨. 𝙓𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙖 𝙆𝙖𝙮𝙚 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡, Nurse Educator; and 𝙈𝙧. 𝙅𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙨 𝙇𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙢𝙖, Clinical Pharmacist, are all on their thesis writing in relation to their respective Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Nursing Hospital Administration, and Clinical Pharmacy & Research.

Lastly, 𝙈𝙧. 𝙍𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙚𝙡 𝙎𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙯, the hospital’s Quality Improvement and Risk Manager is currently taking up his Doctorate Degree in Nursing through the hospital’s scholarship program.

On the other hand of continuing education, In 2020, the hospital's 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 together with the 𝗥𝗲𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗰𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 (𝗥𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗦) embarked on a monumental stride with the launching of the 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗲𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗰𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, a platform that echoes the institution's commitment to continuous learning and advancement in healthcare. Today, as we look back at the trailblazing impact of these conferences, we see the fruits of knowledge and innovation sown by our nurses.
