UsapTayo: Supporting Youth Mental Health 💚✨

Promoting youth mental health by providing a safe space to talk, to be heard, and better understand their mental health.

Student interns from National University MOA and Dasma, Samuel Christian College, St. Dominic College of Asia, and Lyceum of the Philippines – Cavite joined together for a 2-day activity at Cavite School of St. Mark involving Junior High School (JHS) and Senior High School (SHS) students under the program “UsapTayo: Empowering Youth Mental Health”. The program consisted of psychological assessment,, seminars, and Kamustahan activities on youth anxiety and depression.

Through meaningful conversations and discussions, students were encouraged to better understand their feelings, care for their mental health, and feel comfortable reaching out. 💚

Empowering Young Minds at Maranatha Christian Academy! 🌈✨

Helping elementary learners understand their emotional world is one of the most rewarding parts of mental health advocacy!

Under the direct supervision of a psychologist, our student intern facilitators from Samuel Christian College, National University MOA, and St. Dominic College of Asia conducted a fun and interactive seminar on emotional literacy at Maranatha Christian Academy. Through creative exercises and group discussions, the children learned how to name their feelings, practice self-regulation, and support one another.

Kudos to our intern team for facilitating such an impactful activity, and to MCA for prioritizing the well-being of their young learners! 💙
