MEN’S HEALTH MONTH: Para sa Tunay na Lodi ng Pamilya!

Mga Boss, Kuya, Tatay, at Tito—kamusta ang lagay natin? 🤔

Ngayong Hunyo 2026, ipinagdiriwang natin ang Men’s Health Month. Alam nating sanay kayong maging matatag at "bawal magkasakit" para sa pamilya, pero ang tunay na lakas ay nagsisimula sa pag-aalaga sa sarili!

Huwag nang hintaying sumakit ang katawan bago magpa-checkup. Ngayong buwan, bigyang-pansin natin ang tatlong (3) mahalagang hakbang na ito para sa isang :

🔹 1. Alagaan ang Prostate:
Ang Prostate Cancer ang isa sa nangungunang kanser sa mga kalalakihang Pilipino, at madalas ay walang sintomas sa simula. Kung ikaw ay 45 taong gulang pataas, magtanong na sa doktor tungkol sa PSA blood test. Libre o abot-kaya ito sa maraming DOH hospitals ngayong buwan!

🔹 2. Iwasan ang Bisyo (National No Smoking Month):
Kasabay din ng National No Smoking Month at Kidney Month ngayong Hunyo. Panahon na para dahan-dahang bawasan (o tuluyang iwanan) ang sigarilyo, v**e, at alak para iwas sa stroke, sakit sa puso, at kidney failure.

🔹 3. Palitan ang Pagkain, Dagdagan ang Galaw:
Bawasan muna ang masyadong matataba at mamantikang pagkain. Sundin ang gabay ng Pinggang Pinoy, higit na gulay, prutas, at sapat na protina at tubig araw-araw. Plus, mag-ehersisyo kahit 30 minuto lang kada araw!

💡 Tandaan: Ang pagpapasuri sa doktor ay HINDI tanda ng kahinaan. Ito ay tanda ng pagmamahal sa pamilyang umaasa sa iyo.

👨‍⚕️ GUSTO MO BA NG LIBRENG CHECKUP O SCREENING?
Bisitahin ang ating pinakamalapit na Rural Health Unit (RHU) o Hospital ngayong buwan para sa mga libreng konsultasyon, blood pressure checks, at health counseling.
