Abnormal bleeding is NEVER something to ignore.

June is Uterine Cancer Awareness Month, and one of the most important things women can do is recognize the warning signs early.

Possible symptoms of uterine cancer include:
▫️ Bleeding after menopause
▫️ Heavier or prolonged menstrual bleeding
▫️ Bleeding between periods
▫️ Pelvic pain or pressure
▫️ Unexplained weight loss
▫️ Pain during urination or bowel movements

Many women dismiss these symptoms as “normal aging” or hormonal changes. Early consultation can lead to earlier diagnosis and better outcomes.

Did you know? A Pap smear does not detect ovarian cancer. A Pap test is used to screen for cervical cancer, not ovarian cancer. Because there is currently no reliable screening test for ovarian cancer, it is important to know the signs, symptoms, and risk factors.
