The conduct of PuroKalusugan at Sitio San Roque was successfully carried out through the collaborative efforts of the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Bololmala, Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), and community leaders. The activity aimed to bring essential health services closer to the residents of the sitio and promote health awareness and community participation.
Various health services and interventions were rendered during the activity to cater to the needs of the community members. Residents actively participated and expressed their appreciation for the continued support and healthcare services extended to them by the barangay health team and local officials.
The success of the activity would not have been possible without the generosity and support of several individuals and officials. Special thanks and sincere appreciation are extended to Sitio Chairman Joselito Policarpio for providing lunch for the team during the activity. His kindness and hospitality greatly contributed to the smooth conduct of the event.
Likewise, heartfelt gratitude is extended to Kagawad on Health Gertrudes Sales, Kagawad Marvin Lamprea, and Kagawad Espino for their additional support and assistance, especially in providing transportation and driving services for the healthcare team during the activity. Their dedication and commitment to public service helped ensure the successful delivery of healthcare services to the community.
The organizers also extend their sincerest appreciation to all Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) who tirelessly assisted before, during, and after the activity. Their invaluable efforts, cooperation, and commitment to serving the community played an important role in the success of the PuroKalusugan activity.
Through unity, cooperation, and continuous support from local leaders and volunteers, the activity became meaningful and beneficial to the residents of Sitio San Roque, strengthening the commitment of the barangay in promoting accessible and quality healthcare services for all.

April 23,2026|| Oral Examination with Flouride Application to Pregnant & 1-5 y.o Children

The Barangay Health Station of Brgy. Bololmala successfully conducted an Oral Examination and Fluoride Application Activity for pregnant women and children aged 1–5 years old in partnership with the Municipal Health Office of Tupi through the efforts of Rural Health Dentist Josef Franz Ledda, DMD. The activity was conducted as part of the continuing oral health promotion and preventive healthcare services of the barangay.
The activity aimed to promote proper oral hygiene, prevent dental caries, and increase awareness among mothers and caregivers regarding the importance of oral health, especially during pregnancy and early childhood. Pregnant women were given oral examinations and counseling on proper dental care during pregnancy, while children aged 1–5 years old received oral assessment and fluoride varnish application to help strengthen teeth and reduce the risk of tooth decay.

During the activity, Dr. Ledda provided dental consultations, oral examinations, and health teachings on proper tooth brushing techniques, healthy dietary practices, and the importance of regular dental check-ups. Parents and guardians were also encouraged to practice good oral hygiene habits at home and monitor their children’s dental health regularly.

The Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), and Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), assisted in the mobilization and registration of participants to ensure the smooth flow of the activity.

Educational information materials were also disseminated to reinforce oral health awareness among community members.
The conduct of the activity was successful and well-participated by the target beneficiaries. It contributed significantly to the promotion of preventive oral healthcare services within the community and strengthened the collaboration between Brgy. Bololmala and the Municipal Health Office of Tupi in delivering accessible health services to the people.

It is recommended that similar oral health activities be continuously conducted to sustain awareness and improve the oral health status of pregnant women and young children in the barangay.

The Usapang Buntis / BIBA Activity was successfully conducted, at the Barangay Hall of Barangay Bololmala through the collaborative efforts of the Bololmala BHS , POPCOM Office, Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), SK Council of Barangay Bololmala, and the Barangay Bololmala Council.

The activity aimed to provide health education and promote maternal awareness among pregnant women within the community. Discussions focused on the importance of prenatal care, proper nutrition during pregnancy, birth preparedness, responsible parenthood, and maternal health practices essential for the well-being of both mother and child.

Participants actively engaged in the lectures, open forum discussions, and interactive activities facilitated by the invited resource speakers and partner agencies. Educational materials and counseling services were also provided to further strengthen the knowledge and awareness of the participants regarding safe pregnancy and maternal care.

The successful conduct of the activity was made possible through the strong partnership and cooperation among the participating agencies, barangay officials, youth leaders, and community volunteers. The organizers expressed their appreciation to all stakeholders and participants for their support and active participation in promoting maternal and family health within the community.

A Mass Blood Donation Activity was successfully conducted, at Barangay Bololmala in partnership with the BLGU Bololmala, South Cotabato Provincial Hospital Blood Bank and Tupi Rural Health Unit. The activity aimed to promote voluntary blood donation and help augment the blood supply for patients in need of immediate medical assistance and emergency care.

The activity was participated in by community members, volunteers, and local stakeholders who willingly extended their support to the humanitarian cause. Prior to the blood donation process, all potential donors underwent proper screening and health assessment conducted by the medical team to ensure donor safety and eligibility.

Through the collaborative efforts of the partner agencies and the active participation of the community, a total of thirty-five (35) successful blood donors were recorded during the activity. The conduct of the activity demonstrated the community’s commitment to saving lives through voluntary blood donation and strengthened the partnership between the local health sector and community stakeholders.

The organizers expressed their gratitude to all donors, volunteers, barangay officials, and partner agencies for their invaluable support and cooperation which contributed to the success of the activity. The continued conduct of blood donation activities is highly encouraged to sustain adequate blood supply and promote community awareness on the importance of blood donation.

Conduct of RCM for MR SIA 2026 at Brgy. Bololmala

The Rapid Coverage Monitoring (RCM) activity was successfully conducted at Barangay Bololmala By the Provincial DOH Office as part of the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR SIA) to assess vaccination coverage and ensure that no child is left behind.
The activity aimed to identify unvaccinated and missed children, validate the reach of the MR SIA campaign, and strengthen community engagement in protecting children from measles and rubella. Through house-to-house visits and interviews with parents and guardians, the team was able to verify immunization status, provide health education, and address concerns regarding vaccination.
This initiative also helped in convincing parents to allow their children to be vaccinated, emphasizing the importance of immunization in preventing life-threatening diseases and ensuring a healthier future for every child in the community.

The Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR SIA) is currently being conducted at Barangay Bololmala from January 19 to February 13, 2026, through the strong partnership of Tupi Rural Health Unit (RHU), IPHO South Cotabato, and DOH Region XII, in collaboration with the barangay officials, Barangay Health Workers, and the Bololmala Health Station staff.
The activity aims to protect children against measles and rubella, two highly contagious but preventable diseases, by ensuring eligible children age 6monts to 59 months received the MR vaccine. Children were properly screened and safely vaccinated while strictly observing standard immunization and health protocols. Health workers also exerted extra effort in counseling and convincing hesitant parents and guardians by providing accurate information on vaccine safety, benefits, and the importance of protecting their children and the community from preventable diseases.
Parents and guardians were given health education on the importance of immunization and the role of MR SIA in preventing outbreaks and strengthening community immunity. The active participation and cooperation of families greatly contributed to the smooth and successful implementation of the activity.
This initiative highlights the continued commitment of all partner agencies and the local community in safeguarding the health and well-being of children in Barangay Bololmala and in sustaining protection against vaccine-preventable diseases.
