🩺 Hepatitis B vs. Hepatitis C

Both Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C are viral infections that affect the liver and can lead to serious complications if left untreated. Knowing the difference can help protect you and your loved ones.

🔹 Hepatitis B (HBV)
✅ Can spread through blood, s*xual contact, and from mother to baby during childbirth
✅ A safe and effective vaccine is available
✅ May become a chronic infection, especially when acquired at birth or during childhood
✅ Treatment can control the virus and reduce liver damage

🔹 Hepatitis C (HCV)
✅ Primarily spreads through contact with infected blood
✅ No vaccine is currently available
