Think it’s just a simple neck pain?
Neck pain can be caused by poor posture, prolonged phone or computer use, heavy lifting, repetitive work, muscle strain, injuries, or problems involving the joints, discs, or nerves of the neck.
But not all neck pain should be ignored.
⚠️ Consider Physical Therapy if you experience:
• Persistent or recurring neck pain
• Limited neck movement
• Muscle tightness or weakness
• Pain affecting your work or sleep
• Pain spreading to the shoulder or upper back
🚨 Seek medical attention promptly if your neck pain is accompanied by:
• Progressive weakness or numbness
• Difficulty walking or problems with balance
• Severe or unusual headache
• Significant trauma or accident
• Fever with severe neck stiffness
• Difficulty speaking, swallowing, or seeing
A physiotherapist can assess the neck, shoulder and thoracic region, neurological symptoms, movement, strength, and functional limitations and determine whether physiotherapy is appropriate.
If you're experiencing persistent neck pain, don't wait until it starts affecting your work, sleep, or daily activities.
Get assessed early. Know the cause. Treat the problem—not just the pain.
