Defibrillation in BLS should happen as soon as itโ€™s availableโ€”not after multiple cycles just to โ€œfinish CPR.โ€ Early shock for shockable rhythms is what actually resets the heart. The key is to keep compressions going while the AED is being prepared, then clear and deliver the shock with minimal pause. โšก

ACLS isnโ€™t just about CPR and drugsโ€”Hโ€™s and Tโ€™s are what actually turn a case around. If youโ€™re not actively looking for the reversible cause, youโ€™re only buying time, not fixing the problem. ๐Ÿ˜ฃ

In BLS, incomplete chest recoil means the heart doesnโ€™t fully refillโ€”so even if your depth and rate look good, your output drops. Leaning, even slightly, cancels the effectiveness of your compressions. Let the chest rise fully every time. That reset is what makes the next compression count. ๐Ÿค“
