In-Service Refresher Course for Faculty | 28–31 July 2026
Modernage Girls Campus, Abbottabad
“Your eyes can’t see what your mind doesn’t know.”
It was an honour and a privilege to be invited by the administration of Modernage Girls Campus, Abbottabad, to conduct a session on “Empathy Over Authority” as part of their In-Service Refresher Course for Faculty.
The session focused on understanding the emotional, psychological, and developmental needs of pre-teens and adolescents, with meaningful discussions around anxiety, academic pressure, impulsivity, emotional changes, and the challenges young people experience during these formative years.
We also explored the important role of teachers, mothers, and caregivers in creating supportive environments that encourage healthy emotional expression, resilience, confidence, and psychological well-being.
When we understand what lies behind a child’s behaviour, our response changes.
Because effective guidance begins not with authority, but with empathy, understanding, and connection.
Grateful to the administration and faculty of Modernage Girls Campus, Abbottabad, for the opportunity to contribute to this important conversation and to support educators in nurturing the mental and emotional well-being of the next generation.
