سہ روزہ بخار جسے پاکستان میں بعض علاقوں میں “ویل دا بخار” بھی کہا جاتا ہے،انگریزی میں اسکو بووائن ایفیمیرل فیور کہتے ہی، گائے اور بھینس کی ایک اہم ویکٹر سے منتقل ہونے والی وائرل بیماری ہے۔ اس کا کلاسیکی نشان اچانک تیز بخار کے ساتھ شدید عضلاتی درد، اکڑاؤ، لنگڑاہٹ اور جانور کا بیٹھ/گر جانا ہے۔ عموماً چند دن میں بخار اتر جاتا ہے، لیکن کمزور یا
زیادہ دودھ دینے والے جانوروں میں پیچیدگیاں ہو سکتی ہیں۔

یہ بیماری پوری شدت کے ساتھ آئی ہوئی ہے۔

A 3-year-old cow from a rural farm is presented with sudden onset of high fever, depression, and anorexia. The animal was apparently healthy the previous day. The farmer reports that the cow has passed dark red to coffee-colored urine. On physical examination, the animal shows pale mucous membranes, tachycardia, and weakness. There is also a noticeable drop in milk production.

The herd has a history of grazing in low-lying, marshy areas with known liver fluke infestation. Within 24 hours, the affected cow becomes recumbent and dies despite supportive treatment.
