The Department of Orthopaedics at Isra University in Hyderabad held a noteworthy one-day event focused on the Clubfoot Ponseti Treatment, which included an intensive Hands-On Workshop as well as a Live Surgery of a Syndromic Resistant Clubfoot case. This significant event was scheduled for the 24th of January, 2025, and took place at the Asadullah Kazi Auditorium within the Isra University Hospital in Hyderabad. The occasion was distinguished by the presence of an esteemed faculty consisting of Senior Professors and Consultants. The distinguished participants hailed from various regions, including Karachi, Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Khairpur Mirs, and Larkana. The event was organized by the Orthopaedics Faculty of Isra University Hyderabad, specifically by Orthopedic Surgeon Dr Kashif Abbasi and Surgeon Fahad Jatoi . Hosting duties were expertly managed by Dr Adeena Noor, the Medical Officer in the Orthopaedics department. Additionally, the day marked the inauguration of the Ponseti Clinic at the hospital's OPD, paving the way for future advancements in the treatment and management of clubfoot conditions.

A 78-year-old gentleman, residing in a nursing home, presented to the Isra University Hospital Hyderabad OPD with a fractured neck of the femur on the right side. He had an old, healed intertrochanteric fracture on the left side, as well as a deformity of the left leg and foot due to poliomyelitis. With the fracture of his right femur neck, he became bedridden, as his previously well-functioning lower limb was now compromised. He was provided with a dual mobility total hip replacement to enable him to walk again and lead a comfortable life. Patient started weight bearing on his operated leg on first day of surgery alhamdulillah

نرسنگ ہوم میں رہائش پذیر ایک 78 سالہ آدمی ، دائیں طرف فیمر نیک کی فریکچر کے ساتھ اسرا یونیورسٹی ہسپتال حیدراباد او پی ڈی میں پیش کیا گیا۔ اس کی بائیں طرف ایک پرانا ، شفا یاب انٹرٹروکینٹرک فریکچر تھا ، نیز پولیومیلائٹس کی وجہ سے بائیں ٹانگ اور پاؤں کی خرابی تھی۔ اس کی دائیں فیمر نیک کے فریکچر کے ساتھ ، وہ بستر پر پڑ گیا۔ اسے دوہری نقل و حرکت کے کل ہپ متبادل کے ساتھ فراہم کیا گیا تھا تاکہ وہ دوبارہ چل سکے اور آرام دہ زندگی گزار سکے۔مریض نے سرجری کے پہلے دن اپنی آپریشن شدہ ٹانگ پر وزن اٹھانا شروع کیا۔الحمد اللہ
