*OBJECTIVE*
To ensure safety of patients, staff and visitors during fire emergency and to conduct regular fire drills.

*A. PRE-DRILL PREPARATION*
1. *Fire Extinguishers*: Check availability on each floor and expiry date
2. *Fire Alarm System*: Test functionality
3. *Emergency Lighting*: Ensure illuminated exit signs are working
4. *Exit Signage*: Clearly marked and unobstructed
5. *Oxygen Shut-off Valve*: Location identified and accessible
6. *Emergency Contact Numbers*: 1122 / 15 displayed on every floor

*B. R.A.C.E RESPONSE PROTOCOL*
*R* - *Rescue* patients and staff from danger area
*A* - *Alarm* - Activate fire alarm and call 1122
*C* - *Contain* - Close doors to contain fire and smoke
*E* - *Evacuate* - Move to designated assembly point via stairs. DO NOT USE LIFTS

*C. USE OF FIRE EXTINGUISHER - P.A.S.S*
*P* - *Pull* the safety pin
*A* - *Aim* at the base of fire
*S* - *Squeeze* the handle
*S* - *Sweep* from side to side

*D. POST EVACUATION*
1. *Assembly Point*: Gather at designated safe area
2. *Headcount*: Account for all patients and staff
3. *Report Missing*: 3Inform emergency coordinator immediately
4. *Time Recording*: Note evacuation time

*E. DOCUMENTATION*
Record: Date, Time, Fire Location, No. of Patients, No. of Staff, Observations.
