Honoring the Heartbeat of Healthcare!
Maroof International Hospital, in collaboration with Mövenpick Hotel Centaurus Islamabad, gracefully celebrated International Nurses Day with a memorable seminar dedicated to honoring the dedication, compassion, and resilience of nurses the true backbone of healthcare.
The event was graced by Chairman Senate of Pakistan H.E. Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani as the Chief Guest. Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, Advisor and National Coordinator to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Tourism, joined as Guest of Honor alongside Ch. Naseer Ahmed, Chairman, Maroof International Hospital. The seminar was led by Mr. Haroon Naseer, CEO Maroof International, together with Dr. Mir Abdul Waheed, Medical Director MIH, and Ms. Catherine Bordon, Chief of Nursing.
Adding to its international significance, ambassadors and diplomats from Turkmenistan, Germany, Russia, Lebanon, Sri Lanka, Yemen, Indonesia, Azerbaijan, Mauritius, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and Syria graced the occasion, reflecting strong global recognition and support for the nursing profession and healthcare advancement in Pakistan.
A key highlight of the event was the inspiring presentation by the nursing staff, beautifully showcasing the evolution of nursing while reaffirming their unwavering commitment to compassion, dignity, humanity, and excellence in patient care. Appreciation shields were also presented to the nursing team in recognition of their dedication, service, and commitment.
