It is with profound sorrow that I share the passing of Dr. Pervez Rezvey, Founding Secretary General of the Sports Medicine Association of Pakistan.
Dr. Pervez Rezvey was not only a pioneer in the field of sports medicine but also a dear friend, senior colleague, and a man whose warmth and kindness touched every life around him. His vision and tireless dedication played a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing the foundation of sports medicine in Pakistan.
For me personally, this loss is deeply felt. He was a close colleague and friend of my late father, *Prof. Dr. Nishat Mallick (Shaheed)*, the Founding President of our Association. Together, they dreamt of building a platform that would unite professionals passionate about athlete care and performance.
Dr. Rezvey’s humility, compassion, and encouragement inspired everyone he worked with. His guidance will remain a source of strength and direction for us all.
May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah and give his family, friends, and our entire community the patience to bear this tremendous loss.
