What Makes You a Brand Is More Than Your Appearance
Sometimes, I don’t have enough time to get ready. I simply wash my face, change my clothes, put on a basic pair of house slippers, and visit my patients in Defence, particularly in Phases 5, 7, and 8—areas known for expensive properties, grand bungalows, and luxury cars like Land Cruisers.
I have been visiting some of these families for a long time, and I have never experienced them judging me by my appearance. I see their lifestyles, their beautiful homes, and their expensive cars, but what truly matters is the trust they place in my knowledge, skills, and expertise.
People often believe that expensive watches, branded clothes, and luxury accessories make someone a brand. But that’s not true.
What truly makes you a brand is your knowledge, hands-on experience, practical skills, theoretical understanding, and ability to deliver results.
The more you invest in improving your knowledge, refining your skills, strengthening your theoretical foundation, and gaining practical experience, the more valuable your personal brand becomes.
A luxury watch may enhance your appearance, but your expertise, professionalism, and the results you deliver are what earn you lasting respect.
Build your knowledge. Build your skills. Build your experience. Build yourself. That is your real brand.
