As part of the Sihat Ka Safar (SKS) Project, the SKS team conducted a joint monitoring visit to multiple health facilities in Gilgit-Baltistan with the Department of Health (DoH), Gilgit-Baltistan.
The visit covered DHQ Nagar, Civil Hospital Gulmit Nagar, BHU Nasirabad, CD Murtazabad, DHQ Hunza, Civil Hospital Karimabad, and Civil Hospital Gulmit.
The visit focused on strengthening Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) practices and improving DHIS2 data quality and reporting at the facility level.
The visit contributed to the revitalization of IPC committees at hub hospitals, including DHQ Hospital Nagar and DHQ Hospital Hunza, and strengthened health facility data reporting through DHIS2.
The Sihat Ka Safar (SKS) Project is supported by UNFPA Pakistan and Global Affairs Canada.
