جب دنیا کو یہ معلوم ہوا کہ ایپل کمپنی کے سی ای او اسٹیو جابز اپنے آخری ایام میں لبلبے کے کینسر کے لیے ہومیوپیتھی استعمال کرتے رہے، تو ہومیوپیتھی کے خلاف ایک نیا طوفان کھڑا ہو گیا۔ حیرت کی بات یہ ہے کہ ایسی خبریں سامنے آنے پر اکثر لوگ چونک جاتے ہیں کہ آخر اتنے سمجھدار اور کامیاب افراد بھی ہومیوپیتھی پر یقین رکھتے تھے۔

اسی طرح حال ہی میں معروف امریکی مصنف Dana Ullman کی ایک پوسٹ نظر سے گزری، جس میں انہوں نے انکشاف کیا کہ امریکہ کے سابق صدر بل کلنٹن، ان کی اہلیہ ہیلری کلنٹن، اور برطانیہ کے سابق وزیراعظم ٹونی بلیر بھی ہومیوپیتھی استعمال کرتے رہے ہیں۔ خاص طور پر ٹونی بلیر اپنے بچوں کی معمولی چوٹوں کے لیے اکثر ہومیوپیتھک دوا "آرنیکا" کا استعمال کرتے ہیں۔
