A delegation of Young Doctors Association met with Governor Sindh, Nehal Hashmi shaib, at Governor House. During the meeting, detailed discussion was held regarding the issues being faced by doctors across سندھ and Pakistan. The delegation highlighted the concerns of doctors, house officers, postgraduate trainees, and medical officers, including salaries, security, duty hours, and other important professional issues.
The meeting was attended by Patron-in-Chief Young Doctors Association Pakistan Dr. Umar Sultan, General Secretary Young Doctors Association Pakistan Dr. Yaseen Umrani, Chairman Young Doctors Association Sindh Dr. Farukh Rauf, President Young Doctors Association Sindh Dr. Waris Jakhrani, President Young Doctors Association JPMC Unit Dr. Shahid Awan, and General Secretary Young Doctors Association JPMC Unit Dr. Aurangzeb Shuja.
Governor Sindh Nehal Hashmi listened to the delegation in detail and assured them that he would play a positive facilitator role between the Government of Sindh and the Young Doctors Association to help resolve the issues faced by doctors on a priority basis. He stated that doctors are an important pillar of society and that serious efforts would be made for the resolution of their concerns.
During the meeting, the delegation of Young Doctors Association congratulated Nehal Hashmi on assuming the office of Governor Sindh and presented him with a bouquet of flowers. The Governor also assured the delegation that doctors’ issues would be raised and resolved at the highest level.
Young Doctors Association thanked Governor Sindh Nehal Hashmi for taking time from his busy schedule, listening to the concerns of doctors, and assuring full cooperation for the resolution of their issues.
