Congratulations to Amjad Yar Khan on securing 2nd position in Basketball at the Special Olympics Pakistan (SOP) National Games held in Lahore!

Representing the Sindh Team, Amjad competed alongside athletes from 8 teams, with 48 athletes participating at LUMS.

On August 20, 2026, 𝐈𝐁𝐏 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 signed a grant agreement with the 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧 under the Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) to support safe transport for students enrolled in our School of Special Education.

The buses will cover routes to farther areas, making education, vocational training and therapeutic services more accessible to children with special needs.

The signing ceremony was attended by Ms. Habiba Habib, Miss Shama Jivanjee and Miss Anushka Kharadi, alongside HATTORI Masaru, Consul-General of Japan in Karachi.

We are deeply grateful to the Consulate-General of Japan in Karachi and the Government of Japan for supporting our mission of making opportunities more accessible to every child. 🇯🇵🇵🇰
