NATRUM SULP:

Natrum sulphuricum is not only aggravated by damp weather and humid places such as cellars, basements, and poorly ventilated rooms, but often has a strong aversion to wetness and moisture in general.

They may feel uncomfortable using a wet bathroom or toilet and often have a strong desire to keep their surroundings clean and dry. Many dislike remaining in wet clothes, cannot tolerate damp shoes, and prefer to dry themselves immediately after bathing.

Some Natrum sulphuricum individuals are reluctant to leave the house with wet hair and may insist on drying it thoroughly. Covering the head while the hair is still wet can feel particularly uncomfortable.

Like Natrum muriaticum, they may experience aggravation near the sea or in coastal climates, but the aggravation of dampness and humidity itself is one of the strongest and most characteristic features of Natrum sulphuricum.

Kleptomania or Childhood Mischief? 🤔

Be honest…

What was the most unusual thing you “stole” as a child? 😄

🌹 Roses from the neighbor’s garden?
🥭 Mangoes or other fruits from a nearby tree?
🍬 Candies from the kitchen jar?
✏️ A friend’s favorite pencil?
💰 A few coins to buy ice cream?

Many of us have childhood memories of secretly taking something—not because we needed it, but because the thrill itself felt exciting.

As a homeopath, I have heard some fascinating stories from my patients:

🔸 One child loved collecting and stealing shiny golden objects—keys, coins, watches, locks.

🔸 Another would sneak into orchards to steal ripe fruits and still laughs about it today.

🔸 One patient admitted stealing money for ice cream despite having plenty of pocket money. “It wasn’t the ice cream,” she said, “it was the excitement.”

🔸 Another was caught stealing his uncle’s ci******es and smoking behind the house!

Of course, occasional childhood stealing out of curiosity is very different from true kleptomania, which is an irresistible urge to steal things that are often not needed at all.
