A case that truly reminded me why I love DMEK đŸ‘€ ( Sutureless Cornea Transplant)

A patient—>who is also a doctor, presented with Fuchs endothelial dystrophy and cataract. She had undergone surgery elsewhere, but unfortunately her postoperative vision was 6/60 with Descemet’s membrane detachment
Two re-bubbling attempts were done… but without success.

She came to me for a Second Opinion.

There was Only one real shot left: DMEK--> After detailed counseling and careful planning, I proceeded.

The result?
✨ Vision improved to 6/6
✨ Clear cornea
✨ A confident, happy patient
