The Diabetic Association of Pakistan (DAP) organized an Independence Day Art Exhibition to celebrate the creativity and resilience of children living with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D).
The Mayor of Karachi, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, attended the event as the Chief Guest, along with Prof. Abdul Basit, Prof. Zaman Shaikh, and Prof. Dr. Shabeen Naz Masood. Certificates were presented to the talented children who showcased their creativity through inspiring artwork.
Sharing his personal experience of living with diabetes, the Mayor encouraged children and their families to remain hopeful and confident. He emphasized that with proper care, support, and diabetes management, children living with Type 1 diabetes can achieve success in every field of life.
Prof. Dr. Shabeen Naz Masood, Vice President of DAP, also highlighted that many renowned athletes, actors, and successful individuals around the world are living fulfilling lives with Type 1 diabetes.
The event was a celebration of talent, courage, hope, and the limitless potential of every child living with Type 1 diabetes.
