Mamji Hospital organized an Awareness Session on Acute Flaccid Paralysis (AFP) Surveillance to strengthen early detection and reporting practices among healthcare professionals.
The session was conducted by Dr. Saema, District Surveillance Officer (WHO), and Dr. Hira, Town Surveillance Coordinator. Participants were briefed on AFP case identification, surveillance and reporting protocols, and the importance of timely notification in supporting Pakistan's polio eradication efforts.
Together, awareness and timely reporting strengthen disease surveillance and protect our communities.
