Clubfoot Casting requires precision at every step.
Clubfoot is corrected gradually through careful manipulation and a series of properly applied casts.

Treatment requires:
✅ Correct foot positioning
✅ Gentle, controlled manipulation
✅ Proper cast application
✅ Weekly assessment
✅ Gradual correction

Clubfoot correction is a process—not simply a plaster application. Proper technique and regular follow-up are essential for effective treatment.

Clubfoot Casting requires specialized expertise and precision.

Clubfoot (Congenital Talipes Equinovarus) is a condition in which a baby’s foot is turned inward and downward at birth. The Ponseti Method is widely used to gradually correct the foot through a carefully planned series of casts.

Successful clubfoot casting requires:
✅ Correct Foot Positioning – each cast gently guides the foot toward a better position
✅ Precise Correction Sequence – the deformity must be corrected step by step in the proper order
✅ Proper Cast Application – accurate molding helps maintain the achieved correction
✅ Regular Assessment – progress should be checked at every visit before the next cast is applied

Casting is only one part of clubfoot treatment. Depending on the child’s condition, treatment may also include a minor Achilles tenotomy followed by bracing to maintain the correction and reduce the risk of recurrence.

Early treatment and proper follow-up can help children achieve a well-corrected, functional foot.

Precision at every step matters.

Clubfoot Casting requires precision, patience, and expertise.
Clubfoot is a congenital foot deformity that can often be corrected effectively with gentle manipulation and serial casting, particularly through the Ponseti method. Each cast plays an important role in gradually improving the position and alignment of the foot.

The process focuses on:
✅ Positioning – Correct positioning of the foot creates the foundation for gradual correction.
✅ Correction – Gentle, controlled manipulation helps address the deformity step by step.
✅ Alignment – Proper alignment guides the foot towards a more functional position.
✅ Pressure – Precise and controlled pressure supports gradual correction while protecting the foot.
✅ Technique – Expert casting technique helps maintain the correction achieved with each stage.

Every cast has a purpose. Every correction requires precision.
With timely assessment and proper treatment, children with clubfoot can move towards a healthier, more functional future.

Early assessment and treatment can make correction easier and help support healthy foot development as the child grows.

Clubfoot Casting is more than simply applying plaster.

Clubfoot, also known as Congenital Talipes Equinovarus (CTEV), requires specialized pediatric orthopaedic care to gradually bring the foot into the correct position.

Serial casting for clubfoot involves:
✅ Precise Technique – each cast is applied in a carefully planned position
✅ Controlled Correction – the foot is corrected gradually and safely over a series of casts
✅ Correct Positioning – proper manipulation and casting are essential at every stage
✅ Regular Monitoring – progress is assessed before each cast change to guide the next step

When performed correctly, serial casting can achieve significant correction and is an important part of the Ponseti Method, the widely used treatment approach for clubfoot.

Early assessment and treatment can make correction easier and help support healthy foot development as the child grows.

Clubfoot can be identified by visible changes in a child’s foot position.

Clubfoot, also known as Congenital Talipes Equinovarus (CTEV), is a condition present at birth in which one or both feet are turned inward and downward. Common signs may include:

✅ Foot turns inward or downward
✅ Heel appears smaller than usual
✅ Tight or shortened Achilles tendon
✅ Foot cannot rest flat on the ground

Early diagnosis is important so that treatment can begin at the right time. Clubfoot can usually be treated successfully when identified early, helping the child achieve better foot position, movement and function as they grow.

If you notice an unusual position or shape of your baby’s foot, consult a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon for proper examination and treatment planning.

👣 Clubfoot: Know the Early Signs

Clubfoot is a common congenital (present at birth) foot condition in which one or both feet are twisted inward and downward. The good news is that with early diagnosis and timely treatment, most children can grow up to walk, run, and play just like any other child.

As a parent, look out for these early signs:
✔️ Foot turns inward and downward
✔️ One foot appears smaller than the other
✔️ Limited movement of the foot or ankle
✔️ Tight Achilles tendon

The earlier treatment begins—ideally soon after birth—the better the outcome. If you notice any of these signs in your baby, don't delay getting an expert evaluation.

Septic Arthritis of the Hip requires urgent treatment.

It is a serious infection inside the hip joint that can damage the growing joint if treatment is delayed. Depending on the child’s condition and the severity of infection, treatment may include:

✅ Needle Aspiration – guided removal of infected fluid
✅ Arthroscopic Drainage – minimally invasive cleaning of the joint
✅ Open Surgical Drainage – recommended in severe or advanced cases
✅ IV and Oral Antibiotics – to control and eliminate the infection

The treatment plan is selected after a detailed examination, diagnostic tests and assessment of the infection. Early intervention can help protect the hip joint and support a better recovery.

Seek urgent medical attention if your child has fever, severe hip pain, difficulty moving the leg, limping or refuses to stand or walk.
