1. Patient lies comfortably in a supine position with the neck slightly flexed (about 20–30°).
2. Therapist supports the occiput and chin or mastoid region.
3. A gentle longitudinal traction force is applied along the cervical spine.
4. Traction may be sustained or intermittent depending on the patient’s condition.
5. Force and duration are adjusted according to symptoms and patient response.
