Surgery may be done in one day, but recovery takes months.

There’s a phase only the patient and surgeon truly know — drains, swelling, pain, frustration, anxiety, and sometimes feeling low.

It can be difficult, but it is temporary. As the body heals, the swelling settles and the results begin to show.
