I was honored to be a part of DAAP as a Master trainer at CPSP Multan. As a trainer I taught advanced asthetic skills to young doctors. A journey from a trainee toward a trainer feels like blessing. Alhamdulillah

Attending Face thread-lift workshop.
A thread face lift, also known as a thread lift or non-surgical facelift, is a cosmetic procedure designed to lift and tighten sagging skin on the face using temporary, medical-grade sutures (threads). It’s a minimally invasive alternative to a traditional facelift.
How a Thread Face Lift is Done:
1. Consultation & Planning:
The practitioner evaluates your facial structure and skin to determine thread placement.
2. Local Anesthesia:
Numbing cream or local anesthesia is applied to minimize discomfort.
3. Thread Insertion:
Using a thin needle or cannula, the doctor inserts absorbable threads (often made of polydioxanone or PDO) beneath the skin.
4. Lifting Effect:
The threads are gently pulled to lift the skin into a more youthful position. Tiny barbs or cones on the threads anchor the skin.
5. Stimulation of Collagen:
Besides the mechanical lift, the threads stimulate the body’s natural collagen production, improving firmness over time.
6. Procedure Duration:
Takes about 30–60 minutes and usually requires minimal downtime.
Benefits:
Minimally invasive (no major incisions or scarring)
Short recovery time
Immediate lifting effect
Gradual improvement in skin texture over months
Can be combined with other treatments (e.g., fillers, Botox)
Lower cost than surgical facelift
Is It Beneficial?
Yes, for the right candidate. Thread lifts are ideal for people aged 35–55 with mild to moderate skin laxity who want a subtle lift without surgery. It’s not a substitute for a full facelift but can be very effective for early signs of aging or for maintaining results after a surgical lift.
