Kabhi aapko fikar hui hai ke aapka bacha us tarah communicate nahi kar raha jaisa aap ne socha tha? 💜

Aapke zehan mein yeh sawal aa sakte hain:

“Shayad woh bas apna time le raha hai?”
“Kya mujhe kuch different karna chahiye?”
“Kahin main koi cheez miss toh nahi kar raha/rahi?”

Har bache ka communication ka safar different hota hai. Kuch bachay words se express karte hain, kuch gestures, expressions ya apne chotay chotay tareeqon se apni baat samjhate hain.

Yeh choti choti cheezein bohat matter karti hain — aur apne bachay ke communicate karne ke tareeqe ko samajhna pehla step hota hai. ✨

Hum parents se sunna chahte hain:

Aapke bachay ka konsa communication moment tha jis ne aapko proud feel karwaya? 🥹

My journey as a Speech-Language Pathologist, educator, researcher, and founder of Terteeb Rehabilitation® has never been about building a center. It has always been about building futures.

At Terteeb, we believe that progress is not measured by diagnoses but by possibilities. We work every day to help children and adolescents discover their strengths, develop confidence, and achieve independence through evidence-based intervention, family-centered support, and inclusive opportunities.

Eid tip nobody asked for but every parent probably needed.

Your child's body is their own. Even on Eid. Even in front of relatives. Even when aunty travelled three hours to see them.

A forced hug teaches a child that other people's comfort matters more than their own boundaries. And that lesson sticks.

Let them wave. Let them smile. Let them say Eid Mubarak from a safe distance.

That is not bad parenting. That is actually really good parenting. 💜

if you are new here, hi, I am Dr. Farheen.
I left microbiology to study how the brain communicates. Got a PhD in Hearing and Speech Sciences. Became Pakistan's only board certified cognitive specialist.
But honestly none of that is why I do this.

I do this because I have a son. Watching him navigate a world not built for his mind changed everything about how I see people.

I know what it feels like to be that parent.
•the one told "he will grow out of it."
•the one whose gut said otherwise.
•the one who fought to be believed.

you spent your years being told your child is too much.
too sensitive. too loud. too distracted. too intense. too difficult to manage.
what if they were never too much?
what if they were just never understood?

that question is why I built Terteeb.

At Terteeb we support children, students, and adults through speech therapy, occupational therapy, behavioural support, and more.

Not to fix anyone.
Just to understand them.
To make sure they know every kind of mind belongs here.
