This patient suffered from hip arthritis secondary to AVN (Avascular Necrosis) of the head of femur — a condition that gradually damaged the hip joint and made everyday activities painful and difficult. Walking, standing, and even simple movements became a constant challenge.

After detailed evaluation, a Total Hip Replacement was performed to relieve pain and restore mobility. The difference between the before and after is more than just physical — it reflects renewed confidence, independence, and quality of life.
The “after” marks the beginning of a new journey: smoother movement, better balance, reduced pain, and the ability to return to daily life with comfort.

Recovery takes patience, rehabilitation, and determination, but the results can be life-changing.

No one should have to live with chronic hip pain in silence. With timely diagnosis and the right treatment, mobility and freedom can be regained — one step at a time.

Post Burn Contracture with Severe Flexion Contracture of the Big Toe 🦶⚠️

Burn injuries can often lead to scar tightening, known as post-burn contracture, which restricts normal movement and function. In this patient, the scarring caused a severe flexion contracture of the big toe, pulling the toe downward and making walking painful and difficult.

Through careful surgical release of the contracture and reconstruction of the soft tissues, the toe was gradually brought back to a more natural position. This correction helps restore better alignment of the foot, improves mobility, and allows the patient to walk with greater comfort.

The before images show the severe deformity caused by burn scarring, while the after images demonstrate the improved position and function of the big toe following surgery.

Every reconstruction is not just about correcting a deformity — it is about restoring movement, confidence, and quality of life. ✨

TOTAL KNEE REPLACEMENT 🦵🏻🥼

⚠️Before Surgery:

The preoperative X-ray of the left knee shows advanced degenerative osteoarthritis, predominantly involving the medial compartment. There is marked joint space narrowing with osteophyte formation and subchondral sclerosis, resulting in varus alignment of the knee. These changes correlate with chronic pain, stiffness, deformity, and significant limitation in daily activities.

🌟After Surgery:

Postoperatively, the X-ray shows a well-aligned total knee replacement with stable fixation of both femoral and tibial components. Proper limb alignment and joint balance were achieved intraoperatively, restoring the mechanical axis of the knee. The reconstruction provides a stable, functional joint with expected improvement in pain relief, mobility, and long-term outcome. The patient has begun rehabilitation with a positive early recovery trajectory

The patient sustained a comminuted fracture of the proximal femur, involving multiple fracture fragments with loss of structural stability.

After thorough clinical and radiological evaluation, the fracture was managed surgically with a Proximal Femoral Nail (PFN). The procedure achieved

✅️ Stable internal fixation
✅️ Restoration of femoral alignment
✅️ Preservation of limb length

Postoperatively, the patient was advised early mobilization with protected weight bearing, along with physiotherapy.

Before: Chronic knee degeneration, constant inflammation, reduced joint space, and pain that dictated every movement. Simple activities—walking, standing, even resting—required planning and endurance.

After: A surgically replaced joint, corrected alignment, restored stability, and the gradual return of functional movement. The scar tells a medical story, but the progress tells a human one.

Knee replacement isn’t just an operation—it’s months of diagnostics, a major surgical decision, anesthesia, implants, physiotherapy, setbacks, and relentless rehabilitation. It’s learning how to trust your body again, one controlled step at a time.

This transformation isn’t about perfection. It’s about regaining independence, reducing pain, and reclaiming quality of life. Healing is slow, emotional, and deeply personal—but progress is measurable, and hope is real.

Before and after—not just of a knee, but of strength, patience, and resilience.

Resistant Clubfoot | Before & After Surgical Management

Clubfoot is a complex foot deformity characterized by abnormal inward rotation and downward positioning of the foot, which may be present at birth or develop over time.

It represents one of the most common musculoskeletal deformities seen in newborns. In cases where conservative methods fail, surgical correction is required to realign the foot, improve function, and enable a more natural gait. 👣🩺
