NO I/V ANTIBIOTIC INJECTIONS:

An important public service message.

Intravenous ANTIBIOTIC Injection, WITHOUT GIVING A TEST-DOSE FIRST, can cause an Acute Allergic Reaction that can prove fatal.

In children and young adults, it causes Acute Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, manifested as blister formation on the whole body skin, lips, tongue and the lining of Eyes ( seen below in pics).

As the lesions heal, it can cause VISUAL LOSS in such patients due to severe dry eyes.

This problem is occurring commonly nowadays.

Please be aware of this severe illness. Do not allow your doctor to give I / V ANTIBIOTIC WITHOUT THE TEST DOSE FIRST.

PLEASE SHARE THIS MESSAGE WITH EVERYONE TO SAVE MORE PEOPLE.

"PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE is the BEST PATRIOTISM."

Today we are celebrating the Independence Day.
We feel obligated and happy to demonstrate love for our country by raising the national flag over our houses, institutions, or work places and cutting a cake.

But my question to all my friends out there is: Is our duty towards our country only limited to raising flags, slogans, and reciting the national anthem on this particular day?

Patriotism is often confused with making LOUD DECLARATIONS!

Why can't we demonstrate with our actions, our honest work, our professional competence: doing whatever job that is entitled to us with utmost honesty and sincerity.

This is what we should be teaching our children!

This is what our society needs to flourish and our country to prosper.

Please shift your child's education from studying on digital screens to Written Books if you want to save their eyes from Squints and Progressive Myopia, Astigmatism!

Europe is quietly admitting something big: screens may have gone too far in the classroom. 📚

Across countries like Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, France, and Italy, schools are now bringing back printed books, handwriting, and fewer digital devices after growing concerns over falling reading skills, shorter attention spans, and too much screen time.

Sweden has pushed to reintroduce physical textbooks and limit phones in classrooms. Denmark is investing heavily in printed books after years of paperless learning. Finland is strengthening handwriting in primary schools. France, Italy, and Norway are also scaling back parts of digital-first education.

The reason is simple: more screens did not always mean better learning.

Studies have shown that students often understand and remember more when reading on paper compared to screens. At the same time, literacy scores have dropped across parts of Europe, with many teenagers now struggling with basic reading skills.

For years, schools rushed toward tablets, laptops, and digital classrooms.

Now, some of the world’s most advanced countries are going back to something older, slower, and surprisingly powerful: Books. Pens. Paper. Focus.

Sharing with my friends glimpses of my recent endeavour to spread the light of knowledge and wisdom in the field of ophthalmology.

It was an honour and privilege for having been invited as the chief guest and a lecturer to the recent OSP meeting, Sialkot.

In an interactive teaching session, i tried my best to share the conceptual knowledge and pearls of clinical wisdom regarding "Managing Corneal Ulcer" to the senior and junior ophthalmologists of the whole region.

Corneal Ulcer is a common and an extremely serious ophthalmic emergency. If it's not managed properly, the patient can lose that eye within days. I hope that this effort will bear fruit and help saving useful vision of patients of that region.

I am grateful to the OSP Sialkot and the Helix Pharma for organising such an educational activity.

Sharing a few glimpses from the OSP Sargodha district meeting yesterday.

It was a matter of great honour and pride for having been invited as a Guest Speaker at this occasion to share my knowledge and experience on HALTING MYOPIC PROGRESSION.

Myopia has become a universal problem.
This lecture was a humble attempt on my part to share with the district ophthalmologists SIMPLE MEASURES that can help STOP MYOPIC PROGRESSION.

We don't need fancy glasses, contact lenses, or other expensive interventions that are being advocated by the West!

I hope this humble effort goes a long way in helping children in that region.
I am truly grateful to Dr. FAZAL MAHMOOD and Origin Pharma for organising this educational activity.
