📱 Is it Autism or Virtual Autism? Understanding the Difference.

Many parents notice autism-like symptoms in early childhood, but did you know that excessive screen time can mimic these behaviors? This is known as Virtual Autism.

While Autism Spectrum Disorder is a lifelong neurodevelopmental condition, Virtual Autism is caused by a lack of real-world human interaction due to early, prolonged digital media exposure. When a child is absorbed in flashing screens, critical milestones like speech development, eye contact, and social communication can lag.

✨ The Good News: Virtual Autism can be reversed. By significantly reducing or eliminating screen time and replacing it with meaningful, face-to-face human interaction, you can help your child regain their communication and social skills.

Watch the full video as Ms. Maliha Latif Asad breaks down what parents need to know to protect their child's early development.

SUMMER PROGRAM 2026✨✨

Every child learns differently. Some need a little more time, a little more patience — and the right people in their corner. 💛

This summer, our children showed up. They worked hard, they grew, and they reminded us every single day why we do what we do.

Dyslexia. Dysgraphia. ADHD.
These are not limitations — they are different ways of being brilliant. ✨🌟

Is your child working hard but still struggling to see results? 📚💔

It can be incredibly frustrating to see them put in the effort, study diligently, and attend class, only to struggle with keeping things organized, retaining concepts, or following multi-step instructions.

Often, these hurdles aren't about a lack of effort—they are tied to underlying executive functioning skills, such as memory retention and attention management. 🧠

At IMPACT, we utilize the D-KEFS (Delis-Kaplan Executive Function System) assessment to dive deep into these specific challenges. By pinpointing exactly where the breakdown happens, we gain the clarity needed to guide them with tailored, proper support. Let’s help them turn hard work into clear progress! ✨

Why are some babies born so serious? 🤔👶

Have you ever wondered why some newborns seem to carry a serious or stern expression right from birth? In this insightful clip, experts explain that children develop emotions, behaviors, and thoughts much earlier than we think—even before they are born!

The psychological impact on a child's temperament often stems from the environment they experience during pregnancy and early infancy:

Home Conflict: Frequent arguments and tension in the household leave a lasting impression. 🛑

Parental Stress: An aggressive father or a mother who faces constant stress, anxiety, or sadness during pregnancy directly affects the child's disposition.

The good news? A child's nature can always be nurtured! By offering love, patience, and active listening, and by spending quality time with them, you can help transform a serious temperament into a joyful, secure one. Give your child the peaceful environment they deserve! ✨❤️

The Power of Authoritative Parenting: Why Hitting is Never the Answer 🛑🧠

In this engaging clip from GNN’s Dais Book, a very common household dilemma is brought to light: how do you react when a young child throws a tantrum or acts out for screen time? 📱⚡

While it’s easy for parents to lose their patience, Dr. Maliha Latif Asad explains why physical punishment only creates a cycle of rebellion and stubbornness. Instead, she advocates for becoming an "Authoritative Parent"—someone who establishes clear boundaries and commands respect through consistency, understanding, and firm communication rather than fear.

Let's shift the narrative from control to connection. How do you practice patience during difficult parenting moments? Share your thoughts below! 👇
