The First symposium on World Physical Therapy Day’ 2026 held at Sharif Medical & Dental College, organized by the Sharif College of Rehabilitation Sciences.

The theme of the symposium was “The Role of Physiotherapy and Physical Activity in the Prevention, Management, and Rehabilitation of Cardiovascular Disease and Stroke.”

The event was graced by the presence of Respected Principal, Sharif Medical & Dental College, Prof. Dr. Nausheen Raza, Vice Principal Prof. Dr. Tahir, Director, Sharif College of Rehabilitation Sciences Prof. Dr. Farooq Azam, Principal Sharif College of Rehabilitation Sciences, Prof. Dr. Abbas Jamil.

Chief Guest of the event was Prof. Dr. Ashfaq Ahmad Dean, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences University of Lahore and Guests of Honour was Prof. Dr. Maryam Butt HOD, UIPT, University of Lahore and Prof. Dr. Arif Ali Rana Principal, Central Park College of Allied Health Sciences.
