*JOB VACANCY — DOCTOR OF VETERINARY MEDICINE (DVM) / DAIRY VETERINARIAN*
*Required minimum experience: 3 years*
*Al-Bashir Dairies, Kasur* is looking for an experienced DVM / Dairy Veterinarian to manage the health and veterinary aspects of our *290-head dairy herd. The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of practical experience as a dairy veterinarian, with strong hands-on skills in herd health, disease diagnosis, nutrition, breeding, and farm management. A good team player with strong communication and coordination skills is required.
🐄 *Job Responsibilities*
* Herd health management, disease diagnosis, treatment, and prevention
* Reproductive and breeding management, including AI and pregnancy monitoring
* Calf health and management
* Vaccination, biosecurity, and disease-control programs
* Monitoring herd nutrition and identifying nutrition-related health problems
* Maintaining veterinary, health, treatment, and reproduction records
* Coordinating with farm staff and supporting teams to ensure effective daily farm operations
📌 *Required Skills & Qualifications*
* *DVM degree* from a recognized veterinary institution
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Dairy Veterinarian
* Strong practical skills in disease diagnosis and treatment
* Good knowledge of dairy nutrition and herd health management.
* Practical experience in breeding, AI, pregnancy diagnosis, and reproductive management*
* Knowledge of mastitis management, calf health, vaccination, and biosecurity
* Good understanding of dairy farm management and animal welfare*
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and farm/veterinary management software
* Good record-keeping, reporting, and data-management skills
* Strong communication and coordination skills
* Must be a good team player, responsible, hardworking, and committed
💰 *Salary & Benefits*
*Salary: PKR 75,000–85,000/month*
