Both tubes blocked with hydrosalpinx? This is not something to “fix” with just any surgery. 🩺

I recently saw a patient who had been trying for 8 years. Both tubes were severely damaged with hydrosalpinx.

In cases of severe bilateral tubal disease, IVF may be the most appropriate option, and treating the hydrosalpinx before IVF can improve outcomes.

Sometimes the most honest advice is not another operation.

It’s telling the patient what can and cannot realistically work. 🤍

Low AMH does not mean PRP is the answer.

I recently saw a patient in her 40s with AMH 0.13, endometriosis, fibroids, and a history of 12 miscarriages.

She came expecting PRP to solve everything.

But fertility treatment isn't about doing a procedure just because it's available.

The right treatment depends on the right patient. 🤍

PRP should not be presented as a guaranteed way to restore ovarian reserve or improve fertility. Current evidence does not support reliable treatments that restore ovarian activity in ovarian insufficiency.

Need a fertility consultation but live far away? 🌍

Online consultations can be helpful for selected patients, especially those considering IVF or fertility surgery.

But online consultation cannot replace an examination or ultrasound. 🩺

That’s why we ask patients to complete the necessary tests and ultrasound first, so the consultation can actually help guide their next step.

Online care should be useful, not just convenient.🤍

A miscarriage doesn't always mean something went wrong with your treatment.

At 40, the risk of miscarriage is naturally higher, often because of chromosomal abnormalities in the pregnancy.

So please don't blame yourself.

And before changing doctors, understand why the miscarriage happened. 🤍

One of the hardest parts of my job isn't performing IVF. It's telling a patient when IVF isn't the right option.

Not every fertility problem has a treatment.

Sometimes, based on age, AMH, or menopause, the chances of pregnancy are extremely low.

I could still recommend another procedure.

But I'd rather be honest than give false hope.

Every patient deserves clear advice, realistic expectations, and a treatment plan based on medical evidence, not promises. 🤍

Your age isn't just a number in fertility care.

It's one of the most important factors in choosing the right treatment.

That's why I always tell my patients:

> Be honest about your age.
> If you're 40 or above, check your AMH before your appointment.

It saves time. It helps us plan better. And most importantly, it allows us to have realistic and meaningful conversations about your fertility.

The best decisions begin with the right information.
