Alhamdulillah, I am pleased to share that I have received my Certificate of Completion for the International Neonatal Nutrition Program 2026 today.

This certification has further strengthened my knowledge and skills in neonatal nutrition and evidence-based nutritional care of newborns, an essential component of improving outcomes for premature and critically ill infants.

I am grateful to the NeoNUTRI International Neonatal Nutrition Program, GFCNI Academy, and all the faculty and mentors for this valuable learning opportunity.

we proudly celebrated World Breastfeeding Week at SICHN Larkana, where the target audience were mothers, with the aim of promoting, protecting, and supporting breastfeeding for every newborn. An interactive awareness session highlighted the importance of breast milk as the first and most complete source of nutrition, providing essential nutrients, strengthening immunity, and giving every baby the healthiest start in life.

We sincerely thank our doctors, nurses, and all healthcare professionals for their dedication to educating and supporting mothers. Together, let us continue to encourage exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months, followed by appropriate complementary feeding while continuing breastfeeding, to ensure a healthier future for every child.

🌍 World Breastfeeding Week (1–7 August)

Mother’s milk is a baby’s first natural vaccine. It provides complete nutrition, strengthens the immune system, and protects newborns from infections, diarrhea, pneumonia, and many other illnesses. Breastfeeding also supports healthy brain development and creates a lifelong bond between mother and baby.

Every newborn should be put to the breast within the first hour of life and be exclusively breastfed for the first six months, with continued breastfeeding along with complementary foods up to two years or beyond.

Let’s give every newborn the best possible start in life—breastfeed every baby.
