PKD is an inherited disorder in which multiple fluid-filled cysts develop in the kidneys, causing them to become enlarged and potentially impair kidney function. In babies, severe forms may also cause breathing problems and high blood pressure.

Causes of Clubfoot (Congenital Talipes Equinovarus) in Babies

In most babies, the exact cause of idiopathic clubfoot is not known. Important associations/causes include:

Idiopathic (most common): occurs without another identifiable abnormality.

Genetic/familial factors: risk is higher when a close family member has clubfoot.

Neuromuscular disorders: e.g., spina bifida, cerebral palsy, or other conditions affecting muscle/nerve function.

Syndromes/genetic disorders: clubfoot can occur as part of certain congenital syndromes.

Positional deformity: sometimes foot position in the uterus can contribute, although true structural clubfoot is different from simple positional molding.

بچوں میں کلب فٹ کی سب سے عام قسم میں واضح وجہ معلوم نہیں ہوتی۔ یہ موروثی عوامل، اعصابی یا پٹھوں کی بیماریوں، بعض پیدائشی سنڈرومز اور کبھی کبھار رحم میں بچے کی پوزیشن سے متعلق ہو سکتا ہے۔

Meningomyelocele:
Meningomyelocele is a congenital neural tube defect (spina bifida) in which the spinal cord, meninges, and cerebrospinal fluid protrude through an opening in the vertebral column. It commonly occurs in the lower back and may cause weakness or paralysis of the legs and bladder/bowel dysfunction.

میننگومائیلوسیل ایک پیدائشی عصبی نالی کی خرابی (Spina bifida) ہے جس میں ریڑھ کی ہڈی، اس کی جھلیاں اور دماغی و ریڑھ کی ہڈی کا پانی (CSF) ریڑھ کی ہڈی کے مہرے میں موجود سوراخ سے باہر نکل آتے ہیں۔ یہ عموماً کمر کے نچلے حصے میں ہوتا ہے اور ٹانگوں کی کمزوری یا فالج اور مثانے/آنتوں کے مسائل پیدا کر سکتا ہے۔

Lymphoma:
Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphatic system, arising from abnormal growth of lymphocytes (a type of white blood cell). It commonly presents with painless enlargement of lymph nodes, fever, night sweats, or unexplained weight loss.

لیمفوما (Lymphoma) لمفی نظام کا ایک کینسر ہے جو لمفوسائٹس (سفید خون کے خلیوں کی ایک قسم) کی غیر معمولی بڑھوتری سے پیدا ہوتا ہے۔ یہ عموماً بغیر درد کے لمف نوڈز کے بڑھنے، بخار، رات کو پسینہ آنے یا بلاوجہ وزن کم ہونے کی صورت میں ظاہر ہو سکتا ہے۔

Intestinal perforation:
Intestinal perforation is a hole or tear in the wall of the intestine, allowing intestinal contents to leak into the abdominal cavity. It is a surgical emergency and can cause peritonitis, sepsis, and severe abdominal pain.

آنت میں سوراخ (Intestinal perforation) سے مراد آنت کی دیوار میں سوراخ یا پھٹ جانا ہے، جس سے آنت کا مواد پیٹ کے اندرونی حصے میں خارج ہو سکتا ہے۔ یہ ایک ہنگامی جراحی حالت ہے اور پیٹ کی جھلی کی سوزش، سیپسس اور شدید پیٹ کے درد کا سبب بن سکتی ہے۔
