💡 What if the skill you learn today could save a life tomorrow?
That's exactly the message we brought to life this World Youth Skills Day 2026 — through a hands-on CPR Workshop at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Southern Punjab - Multan - Pakistan.
Because real skill development isn't just about textbooks and theory — it's about being ready when it matters most. Following the 2025 American Heart Association Guidelines, our students didn't just watch CPR being demonstrated they practiced it, felt it and walked away capable.
👐 Dr. Makhdoom Muhammad Hamza (PhD*, DPT, MS-CPPT)
led the room through hands-on CPR techniques with precision and energy.
🎙️ Dr. Muhammad Ahmad ( DPT, MS-CPPT, PGD-MT, PGD-Sports medicine)
Joined as Guest Speaker, delivering insights, knowledge and personal experiences on CPR that every student could carry forward into their professional journey.
The energy in the room said it all,
future first responders, learning that saving a life can start with two hands and the right training.
This is what World Youth Skills Day is truly about: turning knowledge into action and students into life-savers.
🙏 Grateful to the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences and Faculty of Pharmacy, USP for making this possible and to every student who showed up ready to learn something that matters.

"Chest physio" usually refers to chest physiotherapy (CPT) — a group of treatments designed to help clear mucus and improve lung function, often used in conditions like cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, COPD, or after surgery. It can include:

1. Postural Drainage – positioning the body so gravity helps drain secretions.

2. Percussion (Clapping) – rhythmic striking of the chest wall to loosen mucus.

3. Vibration – using hands or a device to vibrate the chest during exhalation.

4. Deep Breathing Exercises – to improve lung expansion.

5. Huff Coughing or Forced Expiration Techniques – to mobilize and clear secretions.

6. Incentive Spirometry – a device to encourage deep breathing.

Do you love weight lifting but are struggling with back pain? I recently had a patient who was in the same boat. Other doctors had told him to quit lifting altogether, which was devastating for him.
But as a weight lifter myself, I understand how important this hobby can be for physical and mental health. So instead of telling him to stop, I worked with him to construct a personalized plan that would allow him to continue lifting while also treating his back pain.
It wasn't easy, and it required a lot of counseling, treatment, and adjustments along the way. But today, I'm proud to say that he is still lifting, and his back pain has significantly improved. It's been a privilege to help him pursue his passion while also taking care of his health.
If you're struggling with back pain or any other condition that's limiting your ability to lift, please don't hesitate to reach out. We can work together to create a plan that works for you. Contact us at 03366906060 for counseling and treatment.
