It was a great honour to participate in another Obesity Management Symposium and interact with Physcians and Endocrinologist colleagues. Obesity is a multifactorial complex disease needs Multidisciplinary Team approach for it's Management. Obesity is a lifelong disease needing lifelong Lifestyle modifications. Every treatment option has it's own Indications and limitations but Lifestyle modifications is the pillar of Management whatever treatment modality is opted.
Bariatric surgery and GLP-1 receptor agonists (such as semaglutide and tirzepatide) are both powerful treatments for severe obesity.
