The ENT Surgery Interest Group (ENT SIG), Khyber Medical College, successfully conducted a hands-on Scrubbing Workshop on 21st May 2026 at the Demo Room, ENT Department under the guidance of Sir Israr, ENT Consultant & Surgical Educator.
The session provided participants with a practical introduction to operating theatre protocols, aseptic principles, and the fundamentals of surgical scrubbing. From understanding the importance of maintaining sterility to learning the correct scrubbing technique and professional conduct within the OT environment, attendees gained valuable insights into one of the most essential foundations of surgical practice.

📢 Scrubbing Workshop – ENT SIG, KMC

The Khyber Medical College Surgery Interest Group (ENT Wing) is pleased to announce an exclusive Hands-on Scrubbing Workshop aimed at introducing students to the fundamentals of surgical scrubbing and operating theatre etiquette.

This interactive session is designed to provide participants with practical exposure to essential sterile techniques and the professional environment of the operating theatre under expert guidance.

We’re excited to invite you to a Scrubbing Workshop organized by the KMC SIG Plastic Surgery team — a hands-on session to learn one of the most essential skills in surgery. A chance to step into the OT environment and learn the fundamentals of surgical scrubbing firsthand.

On 6th November 2025, the KMCSIG hosted a seminar titled “Beyond the Scalpel: Pushing the Envelope in HPB with Robotic Surgery”.
The session was delivered by Dr. Faisal Shah Jehan (MD), a KMC alumnus and Best Graduate of 2015. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Arizona.
