An orientation session for newly hired 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 was held on 17th September 2026, organized by the Training & Development (T&D) Section, 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 under the supervision of Manager HR, Mr. Asim Jalal.

In-charge, Training & Development Section - Mr. Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Gillani delivered a comphrehensive presentation which covered key areas including organizational structure, leave regulations, disciplinary procedures, office protocols, reporting channels, job descriptions, clearance procedures, and other essential workplace guidelines.

The orientation aimed to familiarize newly hired Cashiers with organizational policies, procedures, responsibilities, and professional standards for a smooth transition into their roles.

𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐬 & 𝐆𝐲𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲, Khyber Medical College & Khyber Teaching Hospital - MTI KTH Peshawar successfully started its 𝐆𝐲𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 starting with a Seminar on 16th September 2026.

The theme "PROTECTING THEM BEYOND SEPTEMBER" highlighted our commitment to continue screening and awareness beyond September, the Gynecological Malignancies Awareness Month.

We focused on red flag signs of ovarian, endometrial, cervical, vulval, gestational trophoblastic and vaginal cancers and pledged to screen all our women.

We were honored that 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐦𝐮𝐝 𝐀𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐳𝐞𝐛 - Dean KMC graced the occasion with his presence.

The Human Resource Department, 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (T&D) Section, MTI-KTH, organized a comprehensive training session on communication skills for Ward Record Keepers.

The session was conducted by Mr. Sohail Siddiqui, an International Award-Winning Certified Executive Trainer, Leadership Consultant and Organizational Development Specialist. He serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Center for Awareness Training and Development and Executive Director of Talentech (Pvt.) Ltd.

The training focused on enhancing 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲, with particular emphasis on professional behaviour, positive attitude and interactive, activity-based learning.

The training session was organized by the Training and Development Section, HR Department MTI-KTH under the coordination of Mr. Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Gillani, Incharge Training and Development section.

At the end of the session, certificates were presented to the participating Ward Record Keepers, while the trainer was also presented with a certificate of appreciation in recognition of his valuable contribution.

The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Department has officially issued a notification approving a 𝟏𝟓% 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 in the existing monthly stipend for 𝐓𝐌𝐎'𝐬 & 𝐇𝐎'𝐬.

𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦: 1st July, 2026.
𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬: The stipend will also see a 5% annual increase moving forward.

The Hospital Clinical Audit Committee successfully conducted the first cycle of clinical audits across multiple departments. A total of 𝟏𝟏 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐬 were presented and evaluated.

Clinical audits are essential for improving the quality and safety of patient care in hospitals. By systematically reviewing current practices against established standards, audits help identify gaps, reduce medical errors, and ensure evidence-based treatment.

They promote accountability among healthcare teams, support continuous professional development, and lead to better patient outcomes and efficient use of hospital resources. Most importantly, clinical audits create a culture of learning and improvement, where feedback turns into action, ultimately building safer, more reliable healthcare for every patient.
