Young female with history of wall collapse,x ray chest revealed left sided tension pneumothorax, multiple attempts of thoracostomy done but all in vain,VATS attempted that showed abdominal contents in chest cavity,upon giving CO2 via 10mm trocar marked abdominal distension noticed,a diagnosis of traumatic diaphragmatic hernia made and repair done by non absorbable sutures successfully by Dr Shahid Hussain Mirani at GMMMCTH sukkur
Patient recovered smoothly and discharged
