On 30th November 2025, I had the honor of hosting a Free Physiotherapy Camp, a small step toward giving back to the community that trusts us with their health. Throughout the day, I met individuals carrying silent pain, hidden struggles, and hopes for a better tomorrow. Being able to guide them, relieve their discomfort, and offer a path toward healing was truly a humbling experience. Moments like these remind me that physiotherapy is not just about treating the body! it’s about understanding people, restoring confidence, and bringing comfort to lives that need it most. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who participated and allowed me to be a part of their healing journey. Together, we move forward toward a healthier, stronger, and more empowered community

Tired of treating your heel pain like it’s Plantar Fasciitis... when it’s not? 🤔
The truth is, many different conditions can cause pain in your heel. If you’ve tried all the usual methods without success, it’s time to get a more thorough assessment.
At Advance Physiotherapy Clinic, we look beyond the common diagnosis to find the real aetiology (cause) of your pain, ensuring you get the right treatment plan.

Growing Pains are most commonly seen in children aged three to four years. Sometimes, this issue can persist until the age of eight to twelve years. This pain usually begins in the evening or at night and may even wake the child from sleep. Interestingly, when the child wakes up in the morning, they feel completely fine and experience no discomfort.
The pain is mostly felt in both legs, shins, behind the knees, or in the feet. On days when children are more physically active, playing or running around ,the pain tends to increase. During this time, if the child’s legs or feet are examined, there are no visible signs of injury or swelling.
Most children experience this pain once or twice a week. However, in children who have a deficiency of calcium or vitamin D, the pain may be more intense and more frequent. The exact cause is still not fully understood, but it is commonly observed that children who exhibit these symptoms tend to have a lower pain tolerance compared to others.
No specific test is required to diagnose this condition. Pediatricians usually identify it through a physical examination. Growing pains typically resolve on their own within one to two years, although in some children, the issue may last longer.
Parents can use a few simple home remedies to ease the child's discomfort, such as gently massaging the legs, doing stretching exercises, applying a heating pad carefully, and using medication upon a doctor’s advice if the pain is severe.
However, if the child has an injury, fever, noticeable weight loss or reduced appetite, difficulty walking, pain in only one leg, swelling in the joints, or unusual weakness and fatigue, then it is important to consult a nearby doctor immediately.
May Allah bless all children with health and peace. Ameen

24/01/2025

Physiotherapy is much more than just passive treatments like TENS, heating pads, ultrasound, Theragun, or passive therapy. While these can sometimes provide temporary relief, they are not the foundation of true, evidence based care.

A physiotherapy session should focus on educating you about your pain, guiding you through exercises to regain strength and function, and providing a clear explanation of your condition and how they plan to help you recover.

If your physiotherapist is skipping these essential aspects and relying only on machines and quick fixes, it might be time to rethink your care. Choose a physiotherapist who prioritizes active rehabilitation, pain education, and long term solutions over short term relief.

Your recovery deserves better.

Noisy Knees: Normal or Not?

As a physiotherapist, I often reassure clients that noisy Knees are usually normal! These sounds can come from gas bubbles or tendons moving over bones. The key is *functionality*- if there’s no pain, it’s typically nothing to worry about.

Let’s keep moving and embrace our bodies!
