A young patient came with low back pain for 2 months and radiculopathy for 3 weeks.

MRI shows Spinal cord Tumour at L1-L2 Level (Intradural Extra-medullary lesion).

Laminectomy and Excision of the Tumour done last night. Tumour was attached with FilumTerminale.

Alhamdulillah patient is improving and mobile.

Discharged on the next Day.
Biopsy is awaited.

A young patient presented with a road traffic accident (RTA) and was diagnosed with an L1 Burst fracture, an unstable spinal injury. The patient had lower limb power of 4/5.

Transpedicular (TP) fixation with posterior decompression was performed at the River City Hospital (RCH) Sukkur.

Alhamdulillah, the patient is mobile after two weeks. All praises belong to Almighty Allah.

Young male PT came in my emergency with history of Fall of heavy weight over head.

Developed severe neckache with mild weakness of all limbs.
On exam. Power 4+/5 in all limbs Hypertonic

X-rays, CT scan and MRI suggests
C- 4 Fracture with spinal Stenosis (Unstable Spine).

ACDF with Corpectomy of C4 and Cage Placement with Plates and screws done.

Alhamdulillah Pt is Improving.

خدا کرے کہ میری ارض پاک پر اترے
وہ فصلِ گل جسے اندیشۂ زوال نہ ہو
یہاں جو پھول کھلے وہ کھِلا رہے برسوں
یہاں خزاں کو گزرنے کی بھی مجال نہ ہو
یہاں جو سبزہ اُگے وہ ہمیشہ سبز رہے
اور ایسا سبز کہ جس کی کوئی مثال نہ ہو
گھنی گھٹائیں یہاں ایسی بارشیں برسائیں
کہ پتھروں کو بھی روئیدگی محال نہ ہو
خدا کرے نہ کبھی خم سرِ وقارِ وطن
اور اس کے حسن کو تشویش ماہ و سال نہ ہو
ہر ایک خود ہو تہذیب و فن کا اوجِ کمال

A young male came in an emergency after trivial trauma with sudden weakness of all limbs more severe in lower limbs since 1 day.

On the exam he was severely myelopathic, Hoffman's Positive and power upper limbs 4/5 and lower limbs 0/5.

MRI showed Extradural Hematoma at Cervical Area C6-C7.

Surgery was offered with a guarded prognosis.

Posterior Decompression and Evacuation of EDH done on the same night. Surgery was uneventful.

After 2 weeks pt came in OPD with markedly improved neurology. He can walk with support. (Alhamdulillah).

NB.
Spontaneous Cervical Extradural Hematoma is a rare entity. Late surgical treatment can lead to catastrophic consequences.

A middle aged lady came with severe Headache, Seizures and left sided Paresis.

On exam Power Right 5/5, Left 1/5.

CT scan shows and MRI shows Right Temporoparietal Brain Tumor likely Meningioma.

After work up surgery was done (Craniotomy with near Total Excision).

Alhamdulillah surgery was uneventful.

Post Operative patient is improving clinically.
She's on physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

Biopsy turned out to be WHO GRADE 1 MENINGIOMA.

A 60 year old patient came in OPD with severe Headache, vomiting and Seizures for the last 6 months.

On exam he was alert awake and intact in Power bilaterally.

On CT scan and MRI there was a Lesion at left Temporal area Most probably a Glioma.

Left Temporal Craniotomy and Debulking of the lesion done with (limited resources).

Today I received a Biopsy report and it turned out to be a GLIOBLASTOMA MULTIFORME IDH WILD TYPE, WHO GRADE 4.

Patient counselled for further Radiation therapy and management.

A very young patient came in OPD with weakness of both legs since last 6 months and significant weight loss.

On exam Power upper limb 5/5,
Lower Limb 3/5, Plantars B/L Down going.

MRI shows Very Aggressive lesion at Sacrococcygeal area.
Post Decompression and Debulking of Lesion done.

Unfortunately Histopathology turned out to be a very rare HIGH GRAGE MALIGNANT SPINDLE CELL SARCOMA.
Now Referred to Oncologist for Radiation therapy and chemotherapy.
