From the Department of Paediatric Medicine, Children's Hospital Sukkur: After weeks on oxygen support battling disseminated tuberculosis, Shahida is now off oxygen and enjoying a cup of tea. Her smile and thumbs up reflect her incredible strength. Alhamdulillah for her recovery.

Today, we successfully conducted another bedside assessment of our nursing staff at Children's Hospital, Sukkur, led by Dr. Waqar Ahmed Sahito . These regular assessments ensure that we stay focused on improving nursing skills and patient care.

By identifying areas for growth and supporting continuous development, we are dedicated to providing the best care for every child. Our commitment to excellence continues every three months!

Department of Paediatric Medicine at Children's Hospital, Sukkur, held an important session on "Paracetamol Poisoning." Presented by Shafqat Abbas and facilitated by Dr. Arbab Ali, the session offered critical knowledge on identifying and managing paracetamol poisoning in children.

Today, we began our *first bedside assessment* of nursing staff, led by *Dr. Waqar Ahmed Sahito*, Head of the Pediatric Department. This initiative aims to enhance nursing skills, improve patient outcomes, and identify areas for growth. We are committed to providing the best care for our young patients and ensuring continuous professional development for our staff. These assessments will continue *every three months* to ensure ongoing improvement in care.

Dr Mehrab Presented on upper airway disease including croup , epiglottitis, bacterial tracheitis and Retro pharyngeal abscess. Dr Mehrab discussed disease definition pathophysiology, causes, Clinical manifestations and management guidelines. He also highlights importance of identification of upper airway emergency and how to deal it in an emergency.
