🧬 A single symptom does not always indicate the same disease. That is why precision medicine is changing the way we treat patients.
Just a few years ago, many patients received similar treatments despite their genetic differences. Today, thanks to genomic diagnostics, we can better understand each patient’s individual characteristics and make more informed clinical decisions.
That is precisely why the PRECISEMED project was launched.
We are creating open educational resources to help medical students and future specialists develop competencies in:
✔ interpreting genetic test results,
✔ using next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology,
✔ assessing the clinical significance of results,
✔ understanding the ethical and legal aspects of genomic medicine.
This is an investment in competencies that will become the standard in future healthcare.
