Harpo together with an international consortium of partners (HICS s.r.l. – Italy (coordinator), Kompetenznetzwerk Informationstechnologie zur Förderung der Integration von Menschen mit Behinderungen – Austria, Rosenauer Daxberger Design GP – Austria) is implementing a project co-financed by the National Centre for Research and Development (https://www.gov.pl/web/ncbr-en) under the Partnership of the Horizon Europe Programme and THCS JTC2025 (https://www.thcspartnership.eu/).
Project title: „Personalized and Connected CARE for Enhanced Recovery and Empowerment in HOME-Based Settings” (CARE-HOME)
The aim of the CARE-HOME project is to improve the quality of primary and community care, particularly for those in need of such support. The project focuses on developing innovative, integrated technologies and intervention methods to enhance independence and better maintain patients’ health and well-being, all through active support in performing daily activities and planning tasks. The solution will be based on both assistive technologies and off-the-shelf solutions and will be designed to be simple and meet accessibility requirements.
The planned outcome of this project will be integrated social and health protocols, supported by specialized reminders and smart reporting technologies. This approach aims to optimize resource allocation, improve preventive strategies, and enhance the quality of life for users as well as formal and informal caregivers in their daily practice.
