Take a look at what embryo freezing looks like in our clinic 🙂. Embryo freezing is an important part of assisted reproduction during the IVF procedure. Usually, more eggs are fertilized than can be transferred to the uterus at one time. This is done to increase the couple’s chances of a successful IVF treatment. Embryos that are not transferred are safely preserved through freezing.

Although the egg cell and the s***m cell unite during fertilization, their sizes differ significantly.
The egg cell measures about 120 micrometers and is the largest cell in the human body. By comparison, the head of a s***m cell, which contains genetic material, is only about 4 micrometers, and the entire s***m cell (including the tail) measures around 50 micrometers. The difference is enormous, yet they work together perfectly to create new life.
