Founded in 1984, we are a family-owned business that specializes as distributors of laboratory and process equipment, instrumentation, and supplies for the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries and educational laboratories. With over 30 years of experience, Caribbean Scientific opened its doors as Filtration Instrumentation Specialist, Inc. In 1993, a sister company was founded to provide

service to the equipment sold by FIS under the name of VCI, Inc. In 2002, the companies merged to form FIS-VCI, Inc. The company prides itself on being recognized for providing its customers with a superior service experience. A team of dedicated sales and technical personnel work with our customers to fully understand their needs and provide them with all the products and services solutions required. The service division is staffed by our expert technicians trained to calibrate, validate, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment, with a special focus on the areas of refrigeration and particle counters.
